Applications are now closed for the 2025-2026 Internship Program. Selected applicants
will be notified via email by mid May.
Program Details
If selected, all interns are required to work a minimum of 12 hours per week in exchange
for housing. All interns are selected to work at a designated instructional unit (sheep,
beef, general office, etc.).
28 Intern spots total
Students reside in 7 Houses, each equipped with:
4 bedrooms, 1 for each student
2 bathrooms, shared
Living room, full kitchen
Washer/Dryer
Two opportunities available per year:
Fall/Spring Internship: August - May
Summer Internship: May - August
Program Requirements
Must be a graduating high school senior or current ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏAPP student
2.0+ GPA to apply, 2.25+ GPA to maintain eligibility
16-unit enrollment requirement
1 unit of MAG 259A-Work Experience, a 3-unit intern-specific class & 12 units of course
work. First-year interns take an additional 3-unit equipment safety class.
Application Process
Applications open during the spring semester of each year. All applications must be
either mailed in or hand delivered to the Ag Division Office.
